Today, Jenny Peterson returns as a guest vlogger (see below). In this video, Jenny shares openly about how breast cancer and treatment have affected her and how she copes with the changes to her body and
her life. Jenny was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2012. Since then, she's had to make lots of adjustments for the changes she's experienced in her life. The bottom line is that long term illness, of any kind, has a direct impact on multiple parts of life. Though we don't have control of whether or not we get sick, we do have choices about how we will manage it. Jenny has great ideas about how to do that. Here, she gives us a Top Ten Ways to Cope with Change from Chronic Illness.
If you haven't read Jenny's post on Coping with Hair Loss, you should definitely check it out. Her candid account of losing her hair and transitioning to a wig is brave and inspiring. And for more tips on living a full life with a chronic illness, check out my Health Adjacent YouTube channel.
Great video Jenny - you look amazing, you'd never know the extent of what you've been through without you saying. You've inspired me to get up off the sofa and go and do some exercise, if you can do it being so ill, I have no excuse for always being so lazy!
I'm sure your video will help a lot of people. Credit to you for once again being brave and putting yourself out there.
